painting hull

Postby Guest » Fri Mar 05, 2004 11:06 pm

This is a great group, thanks to those who been kind enough to help with other questions, got another one, I want to paint the bottom before splashing, it's not that far off, any tips for removing the boat from its trailer with bunks not rollers, (may convert the bunks to roller saw them in the cabella's catalog), any way, assuming I can get some muscle, would it be best to lay it on a gunnale and prop it up with a timber or two or what, last time I tried to sand and paint a trailered boat, it was a major pain leading to not such a good job, thanks. I have finally been able to reduce the size of this picture enough for the photo gallery to accept the upload. Please see the attached link or go to the photo gallery of this website to see how to careen a daysailer singlehanded in order to do under hull work.
