Mike, how about a category called announcements? Kind of a place to put general DSA announcements.

For example, I'd post this today:

Deadline submission for the next Day Sailer Quarterly is November 1st. Please send anything you'd like to share with other DSA members to the DSA Quarterly Editor, Betsy Reid at betsy_reid@comcast.net

Hi Bob, I plan to come up with some News-type category, and have it automatically update the home page. For now, I just manually posted your message there.
