New DSI Owner Round 2

Thanks to Phill and Carlos for their input. I just finished installing a set of plywood bunks shamelessly copied from Phill's photos! The job was more arduous than I originally thought it would be, but the results are already telling: the bench crack on the port side closed up immediately and the one near the stern has closed somewhat. Now I need to see how easy it will be to launch the boat with the new setup.

I've ordered the inspection ports from Redden Marine and once they arrive will launch into that project.

I also found a 2 sq. inch patch of exposed and wet fiberglass on the hull when installing the new bunks. It's right underneath the paint and I suspect may be a later repair. Is there anyway I can temporarily patch this and keep sailing for the rest of the season?

Regards and thanks again:
