Inspection ports

Postby Clyde » Thu Jan 09, 2014 5:32 pm

Any suggestions as to location/placement (or non-placement) of inspection ports in my Rebel DS1? No particular problem that I know of - just interested in common sense maintenance and inspection.

If you do a search on the site you will find lots of instances describing the installation of inspection ports, replete with suggestions for various types of replacement floatations material, tons of photos, and even suggestions on suppliers. Typical practice for a DS1 is to locate a port on the forward end of each bench and another in the center of the bow tank forward center of the mast.

I'm not sure if a Rebel is any different from an O'Day or Spindrift for this procedure, but I don't think so.

Good luck, and do look for some more descriptive threads.

Use google and add "site:daysailer.org" (without the quotes) to your search string for the best search experience.
