Waterlogged stringers

Postby Jbarth13 » Sun Apr 20, 2014 5:47 pm

Hi all,

Just pulled our boat out from under its winter cover and found that the glass covering the stringers that the previous owner vacuum bagged in has cracked and allowed water to soak some sections of the stringers. We just don't have time to do the work of cutting them out and glassing them ourselves. Does anyone know someone in the New England area with experience doing this sort of work? We are located in south central MA, about an hour out of boston.

Thanks

Did you ever get a reply? A majority of the people that are active on the forum here probably do the work themselves. At this rate, you might miss the season.
