Although I have a DS II, I stuffed my bilge with 2" pool noodles to replace the flotation. When I capsized on day 4 of the Tx200 in 2012, the boat swamped, but stayed afloat even tho it was heavily loaded with camping gear and supplies for the two of us sailing that year. After getting the boat to shore for bailing, we found that the bilge filled with water, but with all those noodles in there, the amount was reduced.
