reanodizing mast?

Hey all:
How feasible is it to have the mast and boom reanodized? Mine are covered with many small scratches and scrapes from normal wear on the 1960's DSI - nothing structural. I keep thinking it would look great with the boat's green-turquoise deck if the spars were that snazzy gold/brass color.
Would this be something that a qualified metal shop could do if I took the mast to them? Or is this a specific marine process? Anyone had this done?
Thanks,
Carlos
