CB Damage

Postby aigroup » Sat Jun 20, 2020 8:19 am

This boat is new to me and I don't have a good history of ownership.
Struggling to understand how the backside of the CB got so chewed up.
Anyone experiencing similar wear?27542753

Launching the boat w/o CB secured and getting it tangled up in the trailer? Who knows.

You may be able to affect a reasonable repair of the profile by using 3M High-strength repair filler. Unlike a fairing filler, this one is reinforced with short strands of fiberglass. It's strong enough to form a free-standing edge. If you can source some stiff sheets of plastic you can use them to help support and shape the filler while it sets.
