I received and installed my new mast head sheaves (D&R Marine)
and a 55mm Ronstat ratchet block for the boom. from West Coast Marine (thanks GL for the idea)

getting ready to move her into the shop for a new set of clothes (paint) PJ (bike) is not happy as he got put in the unheated section of the shop. (has 2 separate sections)

You should set the ratchet block to it's "auto" position.

GL I am impressed by your "eye" to have picked up on that it wasn't set to auto in the picture. excellent catch, thanks.

Nothing magic there: I have the same brand and it's part of my informal checklist to verify that settings like that are as intended. Usually only at the start of the season, when I re-rig the sheets.
