Spin Sheet Length

Just double checking on the proper length of spinnaker sheets - 32'. Is everyone good with the measurements on the "rigging measurements" page under technical information?

You need to cover the distance from the launch bag, around the forestay, then to you block near the back of the boat all the way to the front of the cockpit.

That's basically twice the length of the boat, so for the DS, 32' would seem about right. If you're not sure, get 35' and be prepared to cut off any extra (is cheaper than the other way around).

The exact length also depends on how far back your blocks are mounted and how you are leading your sheets from there.

It may depend on the location of your spinnaker blocks. Mine are located on the aft deck and then feed forward to the fastening cleats. My lines are about 38 feet. Brad
