I'm hoping that this is a guessing game and that you actually already know what that is.… because I don't. I would venture a guess, though. Is it halyard hooks for a wire halyard loop end? It appears that the mast is set up for internal halyards. I would have to guess that there are blocks on the underside of the cuddy that the halyard tails would run through. When the sails are fully hoisted the loop would come through the bottom sheave and up to the hooks. Am I close?

I actually don't know. You are correct about the holes in the cuddy roof and internal halyards for the jib and the spinnaker. This boat is new to me and I am bringing it back to usable condition. I have never been a racer, but I suspect in the past this boat was one. Thank you for your info, I think you are right, I had no clue.

The hooks are for halyards with loops. The halyard tail pulls the wire loop out of the bottom of the mast and the up to one of the several hooks. The higher the hook used, the tighter the halyard is set.
