The plastic spinnaker pole end is getting stuck. What do you recommend I use as a lubricant on plastic? thanks R

You could use that dry lubricant that everyone uses on their mast tracks, but a bit of wax might also work.

I take it, what's stuck is the pin that closes the opening of the jaw?

Yes, it gets stuck in the open position. i use WD40 on metal bits but did not know about plastic. like the idea of wax, will try that first. what is "dry lubricant that everyone uses on their mast tracks"?
it looks like this but it's all plastic.

(Your link goes through a third party encryption service. Which is fine if you trust that service, but the opposite if you don't know who they are. So I'm not going to open that).

However, here's an unencrypted link: https://www.fisheriessupply.com/mclube- ... lubricants
