@Tomodda, the twin mottos are "you can't take it with you" and "it's only money".
I set the sails before sailing off the dock. That and getting organized in the boat may take 10-15 minutes. If I try to rush this part of the process, I tend to end up without dropping the CB or with some lines tangled. Always.
I found the real win is when you can leave a sheet rigged. I just found a way to leave my jib connected to the sheet.
And I'm seriously considering a way to keep the spinnaker partially rigged.
But nothing beats expert crew. Cuts the time in half.
