Request for picture - Centerboard install 1983 DSII

Hi all,

Thanks for such an informative forum - I've picked up some great and helpful information. Quick request - does someone have a couple pictures of how to install the centerboard back into an '83 DSII? I've just finished a longstanding project of getting the bottom painted, but now I want to be sure that I reinstall the steel cable, centerboard, and wedges correctly.

- Any tips for ensuring the reinstall goes correctly? (boat is currently upside down).

- I noticed a lot of white sealant on the sides of the wedges. Could someone let me know what that stuff is, why its used, and whether or not I should apply something like that during reinstall?

Any other thoughts welcome as well.
