I am replacing stock cleat for CB up and down lines using spring release cleat * for down haul and something else for uphaul. I am interested in opinions regarding optimal location for both cleats and configuration (clam cleat, jam cleat, other styles?) for down haul cleat on side of CB trunk. I expect to be sailing with crew more often than not, but single hand option still attractive.
