I have been able to restore the photos from the old gallery.
I would not be at all surprised if there are still bugs or unfixed links, etc.

The biggest change seems to be with regards to be in how to reference the images
We used to have to insert

Code: Select all

[thumb=1376]

now the code for the same thing is

Code: Select all

[album]1376[/album]

The latter now gives the familiar small clickable image, while the former [thumb=1376] does nothing.

Luckily the ID numbers are the same so that anybody can easily edit any of their old posts to make the images appear again.

For new posts, there's the "Gallery" button in the editor. You can select any of your own pictures there an insert it at a click of a button (it will generate the

[album]1376[/album]

for you.

If you've linked any images in the gallery via full URL, the location has changed slightly as the gallery is now kept in a somewhat different location on the server.

Thanks so much Bob and Green lake for all your work on this. The snow's starting to fall here in MI and it's wonderful to have all the pics back. The new format is great!

By the way, am I imagining things, or are the photos bigger and sharper?
