I just repainted the hull using that method. I used a water-based PU paint (from System Three). What I learned was to have more than one brush for tipping - because it works best when the brush is dry and clean - after a while it will load up and in my experience work less well. Also, having a really high quality brush, using really light touch and figuring out the correct amount of thinning - all are crucial. With the water-based stuff, we could use a fine mist after rolling to help when the paint wanted to dry too fast. Harder to do it you use solvent based stuff.

If you make a mistake, you can just repeat the rolling right away and start over with the process.
