Hull Numbers

My new sail came with numbers that I can apply. So now I need to figure out what my number is.
I have a few letters, then (if I recall correctly from 12 hours ago) about 5 numbers. Something like 10352. Is the hull number on a 79 DSII five digits? And, does one only apply them to the starboard side, or do I need to order a few more blanks to do both sides?
Thanks.
My new sail came with a roll bag, rather than a fold bag (9' x 8", rather than 3' x 2'). I gather it is better for the sail to roll it, and this one seems a bit more creaseable than the old. However, it doesn't fit in the bed of my truck so I suppose I'll have to lash it to the mast for transport. Unless there are other ideas out there.
