Mast Sections

Any thoughts on these two mast sections? The mast pictured on the right is a Proctor "D" mast and I'm not sure about the one on the left? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

It appears to be similar to what I have an old Proctor Beta, or Beta Minus.gallery/image_page.php?album_id=210&image_id=2314&display=popup

rolltak, perhaps you would furnish an email address. I've 2 documents of notes addressed to DS masts. One too large to comfortably post as a reply. They cover mast sections that can be used on DSs from sources such as Dwyer, Proctor/Selden, Ballenger (so sad), Zephyr (Cape Cod) and include model numbers, some imagery, measurements and cross sections. It seems that the one spar is a Proctor D or Selden D+ (is it tapered) and the other could be one of a few choices, the luckiest being a Ballenger B2882. I'd also like to know how you came by these sections and what you plan to do with them, as we may have similar interests. And just as a strange aside, I looked into carbon replacements as it's becoming more difficult to find a replacement if you break or bend what you have and Selden is not interested in dealing with individuals. Carbon, of course, is not DS permissible, but...
