Hull number question

Postby FF26 Truck » Fri Aug 28, 2009 7:03 pm

Could anyone confirm the proper way to identify our DS1 hull number. The plate over the hatch is stamped 2 2002. Does that mean the hull number is #22002 or would it be #2-2002 the way it is stamped on the plate?
Has CCSB always used the hull number followed by the year?

I purchased a used CCSB DSI several years ago. The original owner purchased it in 2003. Hull Number is 3 - 2003. CCSB makes a well built boat.

Thanks for your reply, I suspected that was the appropriate way to identify the number. We bought our boat used last year and were lucky to find something in good condition for a reasonable price.

The 18K would be hulls total (from that yard), the 3464 would be the number of Day Sailers. (Just to repeat some info from elsewhere in this forum.)
