Hey guys, went out on the 4th for the first time with my newly restored DS1, i'm looking forward to compiling pictures to share soon. Anyways, when I was de-rigging my crew accidently un-attached my stays before I lowered the mast and as a result the brand new mast tabernacle i had installed got bend sideways a bit. I managed to hammer it back into place somewhat but not sure if it is compromised? Would you guys just buy a new plate or do you think it would be fine for sailing? Thanks in advance, i've learned alot from these forums

Mine also got bent the first time I went out 4 years ago. I straightened it and it has been fine ever since. I would look at it carefully to make sure there are no stress cracks, otherwise I think it should be fine.
