Finally splashed the Daysailer and sailed the York River
The Daysailer has been idle since the move to Virginia a year and a half ago. Put in at Queens Lake Marina in Williamsburg. The wind was steady from the ESE at 8 knots and we were able to sail on a broad reach for 2 to 3 miles then tack and repeat several times before heading for the ramp. All in all a great afternoon and a fitting shakedown cruise as an introdution to the tidewater region.
