adjusting stays
Posted: Mon Jul 23, 2007 4:25 pmI am stepping my mast this weekend. How tight do I make the stays. I am always nervous that I will make them too loose and the mast will be more unstable in a storm and more likely to sway back and forth and snap a stay. But I have also heard that if the stays are too tight that can be a problem as well.
