FS: 1960s Daysailer 1 in Richmond, Maine

Good afternoon, everyone.

I'm selling what I believe to be an early 1960s Daysailer 1, hull number 133x (I think it's 1335 but the plate is missing).

It's in solid condition and the centerboard raises and lowers. I bought new rigging and sails but never managed to get it in the water.

I have a era-correct trailer in poor condition (although wheels and bearings are good; it's rusty and has been patched to allow the boat to move but will need attention for regular use) that goes with it.

The boat is light blue over white, and the bottom was painted black below the waterline years ago. Used in Maine lakes and (brackish) bays but I don't think it was ever in salt water.

I have all the wood parts although they could use a good scuff and urethane before they go back in the water. One piece mast that still has the upper "diamond" stiffener used on the earlier boats. Stays were replaced by previous owner.

I just have too many projects and my family has had no interest in adding a boat to the list of things to do (unless it's a boat with internet access, I guess).

Asking 1000 to cover new rigging, sails, trailer bearings and tires, and other parts included. A quick cleaning and running the rigging and this could be in the water; if no one is interested I'll do those things, fix the trailer, and put it in the water so I can ask three times as much (or maybe the family will actually decide to sail in it).
