What to look for in a used DS II?
Posted: Mon Aug 28, 2006 1:38 pmOver the next week or so I'll be going to check out a DS II (I believe it is an early 70's model). My previous boating experience has been on a wood/finberglass seamed Mirror Dinghy.
Any quick tips you can share on potential problem areas for would be appreciated. (I have seached the forum and have a couple of ideas already.)
Also, how can you tell if the hull is the original gelcoat or if has been painted.
