Can someone suggest where I might be able to purchase hiking straps for a DS II? Thank you.

You can check with D&R marine, or make your own out of seat belt webbing that you can buy from most auto upholstry shops. Or if you can't get any there the webbing from some shoulder belts out of the auto salvage could be made to work on the cheap/smart. There are many ways to set the straps up from what I've seen in the boats. You might look around to see what you like.

I found that cargo straps (2" wide) work wonderfully. I think mine are twelve feet long and they have hooks on each end. One end is short with the crank where you thread the longer end into it. You can then tighten them up to the desired position and they are comfortable on your feet and legs as they are wide. They come in many colors and are simple to put on and off. I install the short end up by the cuddy bulkhead which puts it out of the way when moving around the boat. You can get them at any hardware store. Just a suggestion.
