The bottom plug near the transom, (bottom of the transom is the bilge drain. Keep is closed whenever the boat is in the water.The hole above it, just above the waterline is the mooring drain. Rainwater fills the cockpit to the waterline, then it drains out this hole. The dePersia bailer is the plug in the bottom of the hull at the back, (not the transom) and it will drain (poorly) only when the boat is moving. Keep this one closed at the mooring as well.
