As you might be able to tell from previous posts, i'm a DSII/sailing newbie, so please bear with my (maybe) amateurish quesions. But I have another one......I'm planning on either mooring our DSII or leaving it at a slip (if we can find a cheap one) for the summer. Either way, does anyone have any advice on how to guard against the elements? Do I leave the mast and boom up? Will leaving the mast up all summer damage the tabernacle? Anything else I should keep in mind?

Thanks everybody!!

i have my DS@ in a slip, leave as much on as you can, get a mainsail cover, and or a boom tent to cover the entire cockpit, depends how fussy you are, leave your transom plug out, to get rid of any heavy rain.you need a good boat hook and cable to use a mooring, know how to set up dock lines if in a slip. GOOD SAILING THIS SEASON !
