Hi,

Seabisquit here - I am the patriarch of a long time power boating family, but always enjoyed friends sail boats. We just got our first new old boat - a '78 Daysiler II in pretty decent shape - wasn't expecting to have to do any gelcoat repair but during the trip home we saw where the previous owner had no clue how damage the horrible little trailer was doing to his hull, but when the boat shifted off the bunks we could sure see it. (oh well)

Also picked up a damaged ('84?) Spindrift Daysailer I so I could use the trailer on the '78

We've only just dry sailed the '78 Daysailer II and I guess I need to get underneath and work on those gelcoat crack lines before we get to the water. :( , for that much coin (a) I should have paid more attention to hull (b) previous owners should be ashamed

(as for photos, if these don't show then I guess I don't have the internet forum skills I thought I did- the assumption is you put the pic url in between !)

Thanks!

The way you put up your links is normally the correct way. I looked at the details of your post and followed the link manually and did get to your pictures. What I found is that the flickr setting may have been set to disable sharing.

If you can change that setting and that makes the images appear, that would be great. In case it doesn't, you can also click on the word BBCode in the flickr panel. That should give you a link and also probably already wraps it in [img]. Check it out.
