I'm Japanese Daysailer player. My centerboard of my boat daysailer is steel. It's of cause heavy. And I always think sailling faster. Had I better chage to one made of grassfiber? Give me sugestion. Most of Japanese daysailers are made by O'day Japan. And they have steel centerboard.

Some of the fastest Day Sailer in the U.S. have homemade centerboards made of Sitka spruce (aircraft spruce) and epoxy or polyester with fiberglass cloth.
