Out local Eugene, Oregon youth sailing program had two of its boats stolen last night. Not Day Sailers, but it would be good to be aware of the theft, as spars, parts, or hulls might be sold anywhere. I would guess West Coast U.S., but who knows? The boats are two light blue 12' RS Feva dinghies, plus three Seldon spars. Hull #s:

The boats were recovered, minus one 12' spar. There was a lot of media coverage locally, and the thieves failed to get them out of the region before they became too hot to handle. They were abandoned, along with a trailer, along a road. The trailer didn't belong to the city, and they are still trying to find out who that was (probably stolen) from.
