What a classic reminder and opportunity for me to toot my own horn. I would direct you to the top of the DS II forum where you will find a sticky note on how to get a book on maintenance and restoration of this wonderful boat. You can also e-mail me direct at roger.conrad@mts.net to find out how to order your book or CD, (or both). I consider this my duty in saving the DS from such similar fate as these flower pots. :)

Just curious, could a boat treated that way be salvaged? The one in the foreground looks better (the parts you can see anyway) than a lot I've seen...

I'm very happy to report that my wife's two hobbies, sailing and gardening, happen to be in that exact order....

The fiberglass doesn't rot per say so after you give your wife the flowers and remove the weeds and dirt you should have a base boat that can be salvaged. 8) Brad

Might overpower a DS Garden, but worth a shot, I think.

28 Cents - Looks like a Chevy.

I still like the DS Garden better but it does give me a few ideas for a vegetable garden. ''I could'a had a V8''. Brad
