Rechristening DSI - No. 1001

Postby navahoIII » Tue Jul 22, 2025 3:06 pm

Hi Guys - I have been away from the forum for a long time. My wonderful wife passed away in May. She was the one who insisted on buying the 1961 daysailer we had found in a boatyard. We named her 'Andiamo' at the time. Now to honor my wife and her brilliant foresight, I have renamed the boat 'Annie", and am only sorry it was not done before she passed. I know there is a list somewhere on this site with the name, year, location, etc. of the many boats connected to the website. Can I go in there and change the name or is it up to the administrators?

Thanks.

There is a thread that has a list, and most users just posted their information in replies at the end. Then someone would volunteer to update the spreadsheet document.

If you are experience with updating such documents (and not prone to making silly mistakes that wipe out existing stuff :) ) then I would suggest you post a reply *and* make the change. If, while you are at it, you roll up any of the pending information, nobody will complain. The opposite, in fact.

If you'd rather not, mention that here, perhaps there's someone else who would like to step in. The original maintainer(s) have not been back here in a while, as far as I can tell, but if they are still around and would like to step in again, now is your chance.

The list is in a pinned post at the top of the History section.
