It's really easy to damage paint or gelcoat with a tarp if it's flapping in high winds. 60mph on the freeway would qualify....

How about getting all 3 San Antonio area Daysailers out on Canyon Lake this Sunday? I know jeadstx is probably in, how about you 1965healy? Afternoon temps in the 70's with winds out of the SE at 9 to 13 kts. sounds like a good time to get that DS out of the driveway.

Let's sail!

1965healy,
How is your schedule looking? The lake is full, the water is warm, it sounds like your boat is ready...
Any chance of getting the bottom of the DS wet???

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I've been in the British West Indies on vacation. Specifically the Turks and Caicos where the water IS warm, unlike Canyon Lake where warm means not REALLY cold.
